SportsEngine "Safeguard the summer season" program
Official Rules
April 22, 2020 – May 31, 2020
  

Open only to legal U.S. and Canadian residents who are administrators/owners of youth or adult sports organizations & businesses, and who are eighteen (18) or older as of April 22, 2020 at 12:00 A.M. CT. Commencing on April 22, 2020 at 12:00 A.M. Central Time (“CT”) and continuing through May 31, 2020 at 11:59 P.M. CT, (“Promotion Period”), SportsEngine, Inc. and NBCUniversal Media, LLC (“Sponsor”) will refund the monthly or annual subscription fees that have been paid if the youth or adult sports organization/business has their season completely cancelled. 


To be eligible for the refund the must meet the ALL of following criteria:

  • Customer did set up a monetary Registration session with a primary registration date on or before August 31st, 2020 (implying intent to run their season)
  • Customer had one or more season programs cancelled on or before August 31st, 2020
  • A refund must be requested on or before September 30th, 2020.
  • The organization requesting a refund became a SportsEngine premium HQ customer between the above-defined “Promotion Period”
  • If requested, the customer must provide proof of season cancellation

What fees are eligible to be refunded

  • Any monthly or annual subscription fees that have been paid up until a refund request has been made.

What fees are NOT eligible to be refunded

  • Any one-time service fees such as design services or content migration. 
  • Any fees for an upgraded design package.
  • Any processing or technology fees attributed to processing money through SportsEngine’s financial services.
  • Any fees for purchasing background screens or abuse prevention training.
  • Any costs associated with SportsEngine’s competition tools that are not included in a SportsEngine HQ premium subscription.

How to request a refund

  • If a customer’s season is cancelled and they meet all of the above criteria, a customer may simply contact their assigned account manager via phone or email to begin the process. At which point, a customer may expect to receive a refund within 10 business days.

During the Promotion Period entrants must fill out a form at https://www.sportsengine.com/safeguard-summer-season. The collection and use of personal information collected below will be governed by the Sponsor’s privacy policy, located at https://www.nbcuniversal.com/privacy/full-privacy-policy.
